"Prayer is not asking.  Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts."

Spiritual Communion

IMG_0180.jpg

It is important to remain close to our Eucharistic Lord during this time.  You can make a spiritual Communion uniting yourself to a Mass being celebrated anywhere in the world.  The following prayer can be used.

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
And I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
And unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
